Im buying a G22 in .40 from a friend.  I'd like to know if I can drop a 9mm barrel in or if I can only convert to .357 sig?

It can only be converted to a .357 sig by just dropping a bbl in, not a 9mm.

Whats a decent price to pay for a G22 with 3 - 10 round mags?  


Are .357 sig actually 9mm bullets in necked down .40 s&w cases or are they bigger?  IE can I use my 9mm suppressor on .357 sig and load some subsonic rounds?

.357 uses 9mm bullets.  As for suppressing, that's not my area but the .357 has a lot more pressue than 9mm so it might be a little rough on the can.

I just sold my G21 "experiment".....didn't really like it.

Here in PA you can pick up a glock 22 for about 485$- 500$ new with two mags, I paid 485$ for my G22 from my gunsmith and my local sporting goods store has them for 499$. I have no idea about supressing it. I love my G22, it's the best handgun I have ever owned, I put a stainless guid rod, a 3.5# trigger connecter, and a grip plug in it and thats it, I've had it for a couple of months and put 1000+ rds through it, NEVER had a problem. At 10-15 yds it just cuts one big hole in the bullseye and at 25 yds 2-3 inchs. I love it the way it is but the .357 sig is good too, I like the ballistics, it is just a .40 s+w necked down to a 9mm, I don;t own one(I will) but I know a few people that do and they swear by them.

Mr. Glock is very pro police and supportive.  Early in the very beginning years when he was trying to establish himself in the firearms industry he gave glocks to officers.  Now he sells them near/or at dealer pricing, 9mm's go for $389 and 40's go $398 the 45 just over $400.  I go to a local dealer that sells to a large number of police here in Miami, can't beat the price or quality on any other gun.

You may want to talk to the manurfacturer on the can regarding 357 in 9mm can. Or check in the forums.

you can convert your .40 to a 9mm , you need the 9mm conversion barrel, glockmeister.com has the kkm  conversion barrels, from the info i collected you can use the .40 mag and put 9mm into it i have tried its just better to buy a 9mm magazine as you might have feeding ptoblems, im about to convert my g27 to a 9mm just for target practice and to see better groups. The .40 is the best you can have a 9mm,.40 and .357sig all in one gun thats good enough for me.
