One can load a magazine made for 10mm with .45acp and it will fire them just fine. (in a .45 Glock or course...)

True or false?

False.    Never listen to that person for firearms advice.

You can only do that with .40 s&w and .357 sig as far as i know. Seems to me that .45 would be too fat to feed from a 10mm mag.

My 10mm feeds mags feed .40 just fine.  There is no way .45 would even be able to be loaded into 10mm mags.

You can load 9mm in 40 mags, at least 5 or 6. I have done it and the gun shot fine.

.45 inches = 11.43 millimeters, per Google Math.

Well, I tried it for myself, and in all honesty they loaded very easily like in a normal .45 mag...kind of interesting..

doesnt sound too far fetched. i dont own any 10mm's, but i have several plastic ammo boxes that are labeled .45/10mm.

I've done it, accidentally. Luckily, I caught it. My Glock 20 was my duty gun and it would've jammed after one round with the top round in the mag being a .45.

True or false?

False, I just tried it with some 10mm mags. The first round did load but I could not get any others to load. I only had 5 rds in the mag

Exactly.  This person is not very knowledgeable if they told you that.

The fact that you can jam a 45acp in a 10mm mag doesn't necessarily mean that it will function correctly.

Also, you run the risk of bending the feed lips on your 10mm mags so that they are no longer reliable with 10mm ammo.

All in all it's just a stupid thing to do.
