You can only do that with .40 s&w and .357 sig as far as i know. Seems to me that .45 would be too fat to feed from a 10mm mag.

My 10mm feeds mags feed .40 just fine. There is no way .45 would even be able to be loaded into 10mm mags.

Well, I tried it for myself, and in all honesty they loaded very easily like in a normal .45 mag...kind of interesting..

doesnt sound too far fetched. i dont own any 10mm's, but i have several plastic ammo boxes that are labeled .45/10mm.

I've done it, accidentally. Luckily, I caught it. My Glock 20 was my duty gun and it would've jammed after one round with the top round in the mag being a .45.

Also, you run the risk of bending the feed lips on your 10mm mags so that they are no longer reliable with 10mm ammo. All in all it's just a stupid thing to do. |
