I just got home from a gun show they had Korean Glock Mags for $10.99 does anybody every run them?

When I had a G17 issued to me I bought two of the Korean mags to use as training mags. They were a bitch to load the first time, but they functioned flawlessly.

CDNN has them for 5.99 right now. I'd buy four or five (or ten) at that price if they had G27 mags.

I used my Buddy's for my 22 once and it wasn't that great.  Id spend the extra 14 for a factory glock reliable mag.

I have a bunch for my G17 and G19 and also a few of the 29 round .40 mags for my G23.  All my G17 and 33 round mags have been flawless.  I did get some G19 mags that had excess molding material on the inside of the mag body near the mag catch area.  A quick swipe of the hobby knife and it was fixed.  I also lowered the front edge on a few of the mag bodies so the rounds would have a larger part out of the mags.  Less that a minute to do both.

The material is the same Nylon 6.6 that Glock mags are made from.  The parts are exact duplicates of the latest models from Glock right down to the followers with the exception of markings.  I have found all parts to interchange.  As long as you don't mind trimming up any excess mold material then they are definately worth the $5 for range mags.

The only fault I can find with them is that the springs in the G19 versions feel weaker than the Glock originals but they feed just fine.  I think the Korean government is using the G17 and G18 mags because I have never had to trim them and the floor plate is different than the G19 mags.  They usually seem to have a little more attention to detail used on them.  My 33 round 9mm mags are wonderful.  If they were stamped as a Glock OEM mag I would not question them.

I bought a bunch on sale that came with a nylon belt carrier. About $6 each. I shoot IDPA using them and save my factory mags for defense loads.

No problems at all. They squeek a little but some break free silenced it.

For training and gaming, they are good to go.

Well I'm back from running over 500 round through them. Not one malfunction. I used the 9mm mags in a G22 with a lone wolf conversion barrel. I suppose if I had used glock mags they would go back in time and correct malfunctions I had in the past but, I'd rather save $12 per mag and avoid possible time paradoxes...

Crap, I just ordered 18 more G19 mags from CDNN since they had free shipping on over $100 of hi cap mags.  Thanks for starting this thread.  

Used 4 of the 15rd KCI mags this weekend in my G19 and G26, no problems. I think the majority of the problems people have are caused by the plastic flaking inside and outside of the mag so I took an exacto knife and trimmed off the small left over plastic from the mold.

I ordered 4 a few weeks ago.
Took them out once, they all fed fine.
No hiccups.
They are a real bitch to load though.
I've got them loaded to capacity and sitting in my safe.
Hopefully this will "set" the spring and make them easier to load.

I ordered 2 G17 mags and a 33 round one last night from them.  I'm excited.  Even if they don't work well, I'm only out 25 dollars to my door

Mine don't lock the slide back after the last round but they shoot bullets just fine.

i have the 31rnd .40s&w for a g22. with the extended base plate that came on it it worked like crap but after i replaced it with a factory glock floor plate it works fine but is now29rnd and i used the extended on a factory mag witch works good.

ordered 6 for the G19, test fired 3 of them.  Could only get 14 rounds in them but mags worked great otherwise - no jams, slide locked back, dropped free, etc

The one I bought when they first come outworked flawlessly. I think quality may have slipped. More recently purchased korean mags have given me multiple problems with rounds binding causing failures to feed. Disassembly and internal sanding helped, but I won't trust them for competition or carry.

All mine work well.

I got them 2 for $9.99, with mag pouch at Cheaper than dirt.  After you load and unload 'em a couple of times and remove the excess plastic "flash" they run good.  At least in my experience.

Same as the 17 rounders.  They are poorly trimmed/ have excess plastic "flash" around the feed lips etc.  I loaded and unloaded them about 5 times and cleaned out the excess plastic, and mine run like a champ.
