It won't matter as long as you don't have a felony conviction.  Back in my wild college days, 30 years ago, I got a DWI.  I reported it on my application - no big deal.

You are a Lieutenant in the United States Navy.

Go through your chain of command, and get a decision.  Do NOT put yourself in a position that could be considered either dereliction or perjury.  Either way, you would be FUBAR.

What part of TX. Are you in? If you are near Austin, you can take your packet to the DPS Headquarters on North Lamar personally and trim some time off the return.

I'll be moving back home to Texas in about 10 more months. I have a GA CCW. Is it possible to go ahead and get the Texas CCW before I move or should I wait until I establish residency?

Sounds almost the same as this area of n.y. thing is..if you don`t tell the truth...even on the juvy stuff...they hold it against you...all depends on the judge in front of you at the time.......a couple guys I know had dwi...and had a real hard time with it...but if you are honest and get straight....(in the opinion of the court)....you`re ok...just takes time......

Yes 90 days whew! Dont call them or they may delay it longer from what I have heard from others whos took longer than mine. I am a ex Deputy Sherrif so my info is already in the system I cant imagine what a civilian would take. I get my Keltec p32 tomorrow just in time since its getting hot and the glock is hard to shove down your pants.
