I was looking at getting a Fobus paddle holster for my model 60.  I was wondering if they have an adjustable retention device or is it just friction?  right now I'm using an uncle mike's holster.

I don't know if they make one for the Model 60. There isn't any adjustable retention device to speak of. The way it is molded is the retention device. I have heard of ways to supposedly loosen the grip but I have found as long as you are drawing it properly you will have no problems.

I totally agree. Fobus holsters give the most secure feeling as far as retention of any holster I've tried. The paddle also grips really well, and they are so light they don't add any extra weight, definitely a plus when carrying bigger weapons.

He has a sale going on right now (good prices)!

I use my Fobus holsters for CCW with my Sigs and my BHP.  My only complaint is they don't make one specifically for the CZ-75, which is my current love.  Their Beretta 92 holster is what they offer.  I bought one of those and it works OK, but it just doesn't feel right.  I'm going to have to spring bigger bucks for the Czech I guess.  Heck, maybe that means I need to get a 92 to fill that holster

If you like Fobus holsters, you should take a look at www.comp-tac.com.  I know the guy who makes those holsters, and I own one myself.  He owns so many different types of pistols that if you want a holster and no one else makes it he probably does.  He makes the only Kydex holster that I know of for the SW99, which absolutely fits like a glove.  Same for the HK USP Tactical with it's large front sight.  Their locking paddle is as stable as any belt loop holster I've ever used.
