depends on what u r carrying, I sometiems carry a kel-tec bug in a comp-tac 2o'clock holster.

2 o'clock is kinda "right there" when you sit down.

I guess it would depend on how big you are and what are you carrying....a full sized 1911 or something like that might not be too comfortable when you sit down. A small 2" revolver or semi-auto might work out OK for you though.....

Your Glock 26 may work.....what kind of holster are you thinking of using?

Appendix carry, or anything in front of 3:00, is fine if you've got the right build, the right gun and the right holster.  Get any one of those wrong and you'll hate it.

It's fine with a small gun, like your G26.  It can even be done with bigger guns, with the right holster.

Provides a very advantageous draw.

Yeah, never really worked for me when sitting.

I'm a skinny guy, too. Unless I wear big clothes, I look bulgy in a weird way in the front. Of course, that can happen when you're not armed...

Agreed.  That gun and position works with a lot of people with the right holster.

Glad to here there is not a major disadvantage, works well for me but no one else said thay packed that way, thought there might be a reason. Thanks
