Those Speer short barrel rounds are outstanding. Very accurate, low flash and low recoil. Plus, while I'm not sure how they do it, those 135 grain HP's both open reliably and penetrate even at the reduced velocity of a snub. Great Porduct! |

I hear way been carrying awhile myself 158gr SWC H.P. +P S&W 649/640 I SOMETIME used them in my 4inch S&W M19 & M13 I can hit alot FASTER than FEDERAL 125grSJHP 357mag loads or my HANDLOADS wich are even Faster |

The 135 grain is a new bullet and is only available in a short barrel configuration. I swear it looks like you could mix a drink in the HP.

My parents and my sister, not "gun people," all have snubbie .38s. They only shoot them once or twice a year and then only at my insistance (  ) but at least they defer to me for upkeep and load choice ( ).This ^^^ is what they are all loaded with.
