Does anybody know which multitool pouch fits which mags?  I'm looking for one that carries 1911 mags, and one that carries double stack 9mm mags.  Also, do they completely conceal the mag, or is it obvious?

I used to carry a short, double stack 9mm mag in one sometimes.

The leather snap pouch for my Leatherman Wave carries a single-stack Kahr PM9 magazine quite handily.

The Benchmade pouch, made by Uncle Mike's, carries a 1911 magazine or BHP magazine quite nice.

To answer my own question, I just tried a Leatherman Wave nylon pouch with a 1911 mag.  It fits almost perfectly, but there are cutouts on the bottom of the pouch so you can see the top bullet in the mag sticking out from the bottom of the pouch.  I doubt anyone would notice it if you keep your shirt untucked, though.  If you clip your cellphone pouch right next to it, it hides the hole in the bottom of the pouch.

I use my Gerber pouch for my HK USP F .40 mag. also found a Schrade knife pouch to fit either the HK mag or my NAA revo. No one seems to notice either,  and my friends would mention it.

Which one?  The Gerber 600?  I have a 400 pouch (with the tool bit holder) and it fits two Bianchi Speed Strips, but is not tall enough for a magazine.

Gerber nylon belt pouch holds a Walther P99 magazine perfectly (15 round 9mm).

Which one, the large (4.5"-5.5") or extra large (5.5"-6").  Do they conceal the top of the magazine completely, or can someone spot the top of your mag?

I'm pretty sure I have the Gerber Multi-Plier® 600 Needlenose with Large nylon sheath.  The flap on the sheath closes normally and is secured by velcro.  If you try and peek through the sides, you can kind of see the magazine.  I'll take a pic here shortly.

Also, I have a P99 in both 9mm and 40, and the nylon sheath holds a magazine for either pistol PERFECTLY.

Thanks for taking the time to post those pics.  The Gerber seems to conceal a mag much better than the Leatherman nylon sheath after looking at those pictures.

I started out using a multi-tool pouch (forget which one) but then switched to an Uncle Mikes single magazine pouch because it can be carried horizontally on the belt which is what I prefer.
