Just wondering how many of you consistently carry pepper spray on your person or in you truck.  Seems to me there may be times when its use would be smarter than pulling out your weapon.

One keychain unit on mine and the wife's keys.

One standard unit in each car in a readily accessible location.

Fox Labs 5.3 Stream.

I do.  What was the ASP Key Defender, now sold by Mace. Handy little device and easy to carry.

Gun-fu isn't always the answer and I like to have options.  If I knew for a fact it was legal, I'd carry one of my Mondnock expandable batons as well just to have another option.  And if I had the money, I'd carry a Taser in my car, and anytime I was carrying a briefcase/backpack/bag of some sort.

very good idea to carry it. when civil suit arrives, your so much the better if you tried to ward off attacker with mace. lots of states have "escalation of force" rules. I sprayed him with mace, told him to stop I have a gun, and he still kept coming.

OK, one on my dumb arse. I tested the range on a can of S&W mace. I have allergies so bad it took ME out of action.

I've thought about getting FOX.  Can you only order it online?  Anyone know of any stores that sell it?

I used to carry some and even used it once. It worked very well. Now I carry a gun instead.
Funny things is the guy I had to hose down ought to be thankful I had the spray, if I had a gun back then instead he would have been dead.

I carry, and I think you should as mentioned if you carry a gun. I don't hesitate to pull out the spray, I do hesitate to pull out my gun.

Works great for the loose dogs that seem to run free exactly where I ride my bike. Doesn't do them any permanent harm (I have had to kick a tooth out before and feel guilty because its the owners fault).
Same goes for a scum bag.  You could spray a deserving punk and just take off without the same level of scrutiny that emptying your glock into them would bring.

Yeah they are great - have ordered from them MANY times without issue.  They are VERY secure with your credit card.

My bank had my address wrong - I had used this card SOLID for 8 months without issue.......until I ordered from Self Defense Products.  They denied my card, called me, called the bank, got a conference call going and straightened all out.  I was very impressed with them.

I carry a small Fox labs in my pocket 24/7.  I will not be left without a less-lethal option when carrying a gun - I want options.

pepper spray is a must.  This and the box cutter/utility/apple knife can go to some places where handguns can't (like church and public gatherings).

I got mine from copsplus.com

and they do price match

I hope pepper sprays work better than they did 20 years ago.  I used to carry one when I worked in Washington D.C. I was jumped by the cracked out black guy one day, my first awareness of him was when he hit me with both arms in the back running at full stride into me. I went flying about 10 feet and landed nearly on my face. I pulled out the peer spray from my coat pocket and fired. Pfffft, it went about 2 feet in a shallow arch and dribbled on my hands. I got the worst of it. My eyes and face were burning as I proceeded to beat the shit out of this guy.

To finish the story, I slammed him head first into a wooden post at which point he stood still and blood started gushing from his mouth. I grabbed my stuff and ran back to my car. I did not go to work that day, and I never carried pepper spray ever again. BTW, it was a well known reputable brand.

Now all we need is a Revolution!

I carry FOX 2oz with me everywhere.  Just ordered a belt holder from Blade-Tech for the summer time because I carry it in my coat pocket now.  Summer = hot = no coat
