Does anyone out there make a 1911 mag holder that seats the mags side by side? Basically what I would like is a converted hi-cap, dual mag holder that has two small openings for single stack mags instead of one big opening for a double stack. Basically a 2X2 mag holder in leather.

at nelsonleather.com they have a horizontal mag carrier, side by side, but the bullets face out.  it's a duty belt style mag holder rather than a ccw carrier.

i'd call one of the small specialty shops that are not so well known.  they might help you.
