I'm not talking about the round being too big, but the gun itself. I am quite short 5'9" and about 190. I was concidering getting my ccw but wanted to know what Glocks most people carry? I am not looking to buy a different type of handgun, I love my Glock 22 and would rather stay with that type of pistol because that is what I am used to. My only concern is that the barrel and handgrip are too long. Anyone carry their Glock 22 without a problem?

You are the exact same size as me, and I conceal a G17 with no problems.

I would imagine with the right holster it would not be very difficult, what holster do you use?

Galco NSAII for IWB and Concealable for OWB.  Miami Classic in special situations.  You need a good belt like a Wilderness 5-stitch.

Most people go with the 19/23 size.  That is also the size that I use personally.

I will have to go to my local gun shop and see if the difference warrants another $450+ on the Credit card.

I dont want to trade this one, it was the first handgun I ever purchased.

With a good gun belt and the right holster you can carry the G22 with few problems in all except maybe scorching weather when the G23 would probably be too big as well. Hint...do not forget a good belt!

I didnt know they stack shit that high......haha...someone who is shorter than me.

I am undecided at this point, but I shot my friend G19 and did not like it as much as my fullsize G22. I shoot very well with it.

I think it has a lot to do with the individual's build.  I'm 6'1" 225 (I'm V shaped) and I conceal a G22 in a CTAC (tucked or untucked) with ease.

If you're built like a broomhandle then you may need to think about pocket carry or a smaller piece (or just hit the gym till your shoulders are wider than your waist ).

I think alot of times we worry about printing too much, because honestly the sheeple will never notice.  It may take you a while to realize this when you first start carrying, but with experience you will begin to understand that most people aren't as observant as we think they are.

I'm 6'3 200lbs. I've been carrying a Glock 22 concealed everyday since 1995. Ted Blocker IWB, or a Tauris Leather High Ride. I can't see any reason you wouldn't be able to conceal it.  You do have to work your wardrobe around carrying a full size firearm, but it's not a problem for most people. Good Luck. I have recently started carrying a Glock 30, same type of holsters though.

I carry a HK USP full size. Your glock is if anything a bit smaller. i change to a smaller pistol in the summer, but fall, winter and spring the HK is used.  check out holsters with a cant to em . Also iwb or pancake design to hug your body closer.

I am 5'10" and 185lbs.  I carry my Glock 35 on a regular basis.  With quality gear and a proper concealing garment,  you can conceal almost any handgun comfortably.

Absolutely not.  Proper holster and belt, and no problem concealing any service sized pistol.

I carry my 23 daily, it fits me better than the fullsize.  With a good holster and the proper clothes you should be able to conceal a fullsize glock.

6' 0", 180 pounds. carry the 22 a lot. use IWB holster when really concerned about concealment, otherwise paddle. carry it when hiking in desert areas, often conceal with just an untucked t-shirt.butt tends to print a bit, but as stated, people don't seem to notice.
