My EDC is a glock 36 in a RCS phantom.

When I put it on, wear it and take it off, the only adjective that comes to mind is perfect.
It is THE perfect carry package IMHO.

Recently I've been trying out a Pitbull Tactical holster for my MP45 and I like it so much I started wearing it pretty much all the time I'm not in a suit or t-shirt.

went back to the glock today cause I was a little formal, and the thing feels so darn puny

I've never worn a full size gun all the time, I tried with a beretta 92 and it just jutted out in all the wrong places.

Anyhow, just wanted to share.

I like carrying my 1911 during the colder months cause its much easier to conceal. Need to find a better option for the warmer months as baggy clothing is not my style...

i am the exact opposite. I have a xd 45 in a crossbreed supertuck and a crossbreed belt and i hate carrying it. I guess that is what happens when you get used to carrying a glock 27 everything else just feels huge and heavy.

I carry a full size 1911 in a Pitbull holster as well. I wouldn't think that a full size would work well for everybody. I am 6'4, 275 lbs. and I can conceal a full size very well. For smaller people a full size can be too much. I carry everyday and love the fact that I have a .45 cocked and locked and nobody knows.

When I started carrying I worried about being made.  You quickly get over that.  It feels good to have a full size weapon on your hip.

the disclaimer of course is that its ass cold here, and we're in heavy clothing mode.

I'm headed down to FL for a few days and gonna carry my brother in laws mp45 there in my holster in summer/spring clothes.

will report back.

I know what you mean. There is something comforting about carrying a full size gun. I carry a full size 1911 in a BladeTech IWB quite a bit in the cooler months but also in the summer when I can or want to. My other carry gun is a Glock 19 which I also love to carry. I had a KelTec PF9 and since I could carry either the 1911 or Glock easily, I didn't see myself carrying the PF9 much anymore so I sold it.
Everybody's different and is in different situations. I always say, carry the biggest gun in the biggest caliber that you can shoot well and carry every day.

I like to carry a full size pistol as well, because that is what I want in my hand when I need to call on it.

My year round, every day pistol is an M&P .40 carried in a horsehide Super Tuck on a  1 1/2 " Comp Tac Kydex Reinforced Contour Belt which is almost always concealed under only a single tee shirt .

The rig has proven comfortable and readily concealable.

On the few occasions that I need a pistol with shorter grips for concealment under tight fitting clothing I'll carry an M&P 9c in the same holster but it doesn't feel any more comfortable; in fact, I prefer the feeling of carrying the larger M&P, the grips feel more comfortable against my side and I actually like feeling of  the extra weight.

Besides; nobody ever wished they had a smaller, lower capacity handgun in a gunfight.

I switched from carrying a G19 to a Kimber 1911 full size in a MTAC. It is nice having the big 45 on my hip but only has 8 rounds plus my spare mag. I wear jeans or 511 pants even in the summer with a regular Tshirt and the 1911 conceals just fine though Im still paranoid of bending over or moving the wrong way and the gun exposing

My first CCW is the Para pictured below. Everything else is smaller and lighter.

I carry a G21 in the factory holster daily for work.   Low pro if you will.  Kinda sucks in the summer but It is the handgun I shoot better than anything else and if I need to use it I would much rather have this thing.

Walther P99 in a horsehide Crossbreed ST.  - 1' shorter barrel  and slightly thicker than the 1911 Government Model. (My next purchase.)
15 +1 or 7-8 +1 equals just about the same weight.

Carry it winter, spring, summer and fall!!

only gun that i didn't like the way it carried was the HK45 (too big on the grip)

I CCW a GLOCK 20 about 35-40% of the time and it's no problem at all. The rest of the time I carry a GLOCK 19.

The Threat Solutions UCR and Wilderness belt make it comfortable and easily concealed.

I used to pack a full sized 1911 24/7/365, but now it's a Glock 17.

For the past two weeks, I've been carrying the Glock 17 with a +6 Arredondo magazine extension on the in gun magazine, and two spares, a 27 round and a 33 round.

I tried to carry my XD45 in a Bladetech Nano IWB holster when I first got it, but it printed too badly too often, so I went back to my "tried and true" Glock 19 (same model holster). YMMV

Same here, but a G22 while at work, and a G19 when I get off.  Worst I've dealt with is co-workers giving me grief for not having a weapon on me.  Most of 'em I just show the backup gun on my ankle and leave it at that, but I've educated a couple of the gunheads about the wonders of the supertuck.

Whew you think the G36 feels puny?

I Carry a TRP Operator most of the time....with a Ruger LCP as my deep concealment gun.

THAT feels puny

I rotated my carry guns out as I've bought and upgraded them, but they've always been (well, the one I just got back from a custom shop, so it's new in the rotation) one of 3, 5" Steel 1911's. Sweating my arse off in the summer time in a t-shirt with the 1911 in a Supertuck without any of my coworkers knowing is a good feeling.

I also got a S&W M&P9 w/thumb safety that I've been carrying OWB on the weekends. I just can't bring myself to buy a puny gun.

My CCW is an FN Fiveseven which is pretty large.  I always either have a backpack or my Maxpedition with me though, so I don't have to always conceal it IWB if I don't want to.

If you can do it, there is no reason not to...especially during the winter.

My "version" of carrying full size is removing the 10rd flush fit and slipping in the 17rd mag with grip extension
SR9C

ETA: Sometimes just for shits and grins ill carry my K frame 4" Combat Masterpiece OWB.

Try carrying a SW 4506-1 in an OWB holster all day.

Its a feeling of relief to take it off the belt when I'm done being outside the home.

I have been carrying a G26 for years but as of late it is bothering the crap out of me in my VMII.  I don't know what the problem is as I haven't gotten fatter but my hip is hurting.  My waist still measures the same as it did 2 years ago.  I'm going to try OWB for awhile and see what happens.

My dad was amazed the other day when we compared the weight of his little PPK 380 with my 5" 15+1 .45. There was not a whole lot of difference in the weight, but an enormous amount of difference in the firepower.
