Are you asking about the extractor relief which runs from about 12 o'clock to 4 o'clock around the chamber mouth? |

No. What I'm trying to point at is a drilled/shaven part of chamber mouth that runs from 4 o'clock to 12. The silver, shiny part. I makes the chamber mouth having a conical shape instead of flat like in all other AKs. What do you think? |

It's purpose is to funnel the nose of way ward cartridges in the chamber. If m85 does continue to exhibit issues it is because of something else. |
