Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Has anybody stained a Romie stock to match a polish stock?

I picked up a new,  unstained romanian stock at the gunshow for $20.  I need to stain/finish it to match a set of darker polish handguards.  Has anybody else done this and if so what did you use?
