No the Wz.88 Tantal did not have a side scope plate..

I was wondering myself since I plan on buying one in 5.45. I will probably put one on anyway since I plan on using it with a Kobra sight. I can't stand the standard sights on an AK. I can't hit a damn thing with them.

Some did, production was limited. There is a small lot of complete unissued wz.88's w/ plates at the Factory (Now F. B. Lucznik) in Poland.
