On a new Bulgarian Arsenal AK, the rear sight has an upside down U or n as the first sight mark prior to the 100/200 etc hash marks, what does this stand for?  Is it a 25 meter sight in and what does that correspond to at distance, ie 200 or 250 meters???

It is the battle sight setting. It is set for either 300, or 350 meters.
