Does anyone think there will ever be any of these hitting US shores ?

The 62's would require a milled receiver to build - the 76's would be sheet metal - but they would be fabulous.

Any factoids / rumors / ideas out there about the possibilities ?

I think the Finns even need to buy Chinese rifles, so they have no surplus of Rk62s.

Shame, shame - Now those would be some cool kits to build !

Seems probable we would never see them - the Finns are an efficient and well planned people.

They don't waste.

Can a Finnish person sell a Sako 92s as a kit into USA or are there problems in importing into USA?

There is a new regulation that bans the importation of the barrel into the US, Finn. Also the rifle would have to be torch cut to our Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives specs.

That would be a hell of a shame to torch cut up a SAKO!

if the sako92s were to be stripped of all parts excluding barrel and receiver and the parts sent, but the receiver and barrel would stay in Finland, Would that be ok?
