I am going to thread my mossy imported Galil and have been debating as to which thread pattern to use. The IMI pattern (don't know what it is) or the 1/2 28 for a US flash hider if I want to change. Any opinions?

P.S. Oh Yeah, I will do all of this right after I drill out the blind pin in the buttstock

The Galil thread pattern is a metric 13mm x 1 RH TPI.
