The initial ATI Galil offering has been an absolute circus, not surprisingly.
That Galil SAR is pretty much my dream rifle, so IF they can get it right, I'd be a buyer. But that's a big fat IF. I already SBR'd an ACE to scratch the Galil shorty itch, so I'm gonna need a lot of convincing... |

They should have sourced CNC warrior braces for these - they pretty much mimic the Galil stock in appearance.

I think they expect many to Form 1 these and put a factory folder on it.

I was able to order one from atlantic firearms before they sold out. Hard to find any information on them online. Not even on ATIs website.

I had an SAR but when we got rid of the SOT the post sample had to go. I wanted one ever since then, i figured this was the easiest way to get one but i know im sacraficing a lot.
I hope i can run my magazines i have left over. I see some people had to take some metal away from the receiver. Anyone know if this has an updated receiver to accept imi metal magazines? Tapco is closed so i wonder if they will change with the times. |

I got one of the last ARMs that were out there last batch and just needed to file the top of the rear tang on the magazine to fit. I filed and fit 4 surplus mags and cycled "dummy rounds"(no powder,no primer through each one without a hitch. The rifle is tight, everything about it is tight fit, what a difference from an AK.
