I'm trying to join the Galil cult with a SAR build, and I'd like to keep the barrel and look as short as possible (14.5) without running into SBR and parts count issues. Any thoughts on these possibilities?

Any ideas are welcome. I'd also love to know if anyone has any ideas on where to find 1:7 or 1:9 barrels since I have a 1:12 barrel from Apex but I'd like the option of shooting heavier someday. I'm waiting on a Tortort receiver, and am counting on Jeff Miller for the build. Am I missing anything else?

I bought the one from Botach that you posted for my build. What I got isn't the same as the picture. Kind of disappointing they don't have a description that tells you what size it really is. Regardless, I ended up getting an extension and welding that to my barrel, then welding the FH to the extension. Ugly, but it works until I SBR it.
