do they need to be sent off or can you clean with qtips and alcohol, let dry and then touch up with nite brite paint or something like that?

okey dokey...     I just bought my Century Galil on Friday...  am putting together a New User FAQ I will post later (with a range report).

Tooltech can do it. A few years ago there was a whole bunch done through the old Valmet forums where everyone sent their night sights to be recharged by Tooltech.

I replaced the ones on my Golani with the nightsiters dots..... you have to "charge" them under a bright light source for 15- 20 minutes and then they glow for hours. While tritium is better.... the nightsiters are brighter then the tritium's,  for the first hour or so.

Oh, and they sell for $10 bucks.... my kinda upgrade!

Great person to deal with.  I love mine.  Bright and lock up tight because they're new.  My old ones slopped around and had no glow.  Awesome!  Glad I did it!
