Does anyone know if you can swap a barrel from a romanian, or other AK on a Yugo?  They both have 23mm trunion holes.  The reason I ask is because it would be nice to swap those junk Yugo barrels for a nice chrome bore, and I have seen some Yugos with different gas blocks like the ones on other AK's.  Do the Yugos all come with granade sights?

Not if you want to use the original Yugoslavian handguards, front sight block, gas block, etc.

It's all different for the Yugoslavians vs. other European AK-47's and AKM's.

what he's asking is, "are all the barrel diameters compatable?"

like, can you take a romy or amd barrel, and put all the blocks from a yugo on it?
