I paid approx. $500.00 for a yugo underfolder with synthetic furniture about 4 or 5 months ago that was new in the box. I dont know if prices have changed.

$545 is a fair deal. Just keep in mind that the supply of Yugo's is exausted, and there may or may not be any more kits imported. The next one you find could be $650

paid $649 for an m70ab2, wood hand guards,black pistol grip, going down to buy the ab 1 this weekend, i thought it was to high but fell in love

I would go for it.
I paid $439 for a Century underfolder not two weeks ago and now the company I bought it from posts this: http://www.classicarms.us/ I count myself lucky to have gotten one when I did! |

I just picked up a NIB M70AB2 for $500 at a gun show. I think I got a great deal considering prices have been starting to go up.
OT, also picked up 1,500 rounds of Wolf 7.62x39 FMJ for $330. Lead is going up too. |

I went to a gun show this weekend I was not impressed with the selection of AK's... The one M70AB2 was 575 before tax and the guy wouldnt go any lower. He had three of them. The tax at the show was 7% I got his information if I buy it from him at his shop the tax is only 3%. I know it seams high but I think the market is drying up.

Bought one from Classic Arms last week...Yugo M70B1, fixed stock, w/ 2 mags for $449.95. For an extra $50 I got a sling, bayonet w/ sheath, a hard case and 100 rounds of Wolf. THEN, I bought 360 rounds of Russian Golden Tiger in a 30 caliber ammo can. TTL w/ shipping was $596 for all of it.

Less than 500 is starting to sound like a steal. My dealer wants about 545 before tax on the underfolder. I bought one from him about 6 months ago and was able to get out with tax included for right about 500 and some change. For anyone who got one of the underfolders for less than 500, count yourself as one of the lucky ones. Classic arms just came out and said that they no longer have any of the underfolders left and will not be getting any more of them again. Look for prices to start going up on these in the very near future if you can find them. RG

The Yugo underfolder near me is $519. I bought one two weeks ago and the pawn shop I bought it from still has 33 left.

I paid $499 for mine at Indy 1500 at next table they wanted $799 . I think govt runs gun prices like oil prices!

As I understand it, Yugoslavia is trying to become a NATO nation and one of the things that was holding it up, was NATO's assertion that they were proliferating the world's small arms market by exporting parts. I think you got a great price and what you saw at the next table over is the way of things to come. If a defeatocrat gets in the White House it will only get worse. |

correct, Yugoslavia technically no longer exists. The present-day countries created from the former parts of Yugoslavia are: Bosnia and Herzegovina Croatia Montenegro FYR of Macedonia Serbia partially recognized breakaway province of Kosovo Slovenia |
