Have any of y'all tried this Rifletech SKS trigger group?  It's definitely pricey, but I was wondering about it.  All that I know is that it's a 3# pull and DC (Rifletech/Hitech) manufactures the trigger group in Michigan.

I'm aware of few options for upgrading the SKS trigger; I do expect to get a kivaari rework of a Yugo trigger group back any day, and these two options are all of which I know.

I have a couple of these trigger groups. The triggers do pull around three pounds and they are much improved over the factory trigger group. They don't seem to like Wolf ammo. I get about 20% won't fire. They work great with domestic brass and the selior beloit ammo. My group sizes are reduced by at least a third. This DC triggergroup is the biggest single improvement I have been able to make with my SKS.

But they are very expensive and are not marked USA. They electropencil the date that they were produced along with initials on the trigger frame and hammer and claim that they are made in the United States.

Dude, your money but I wouldnt buy a trigger assembly for more than the rifle is worth. You can tear down the sks trigger assembly yourself pretty easily, and polish up bearing surfaces to improve the trigger pull. Also wolff gunsprings makes replacement springs for the triggergroup to help with trigger pull weight.

Here is a link to the wolff gunsprings sks powerpack for nine dollars, I would try that along with polishing the sides of the sear and the channel it slides in. I have just polished the sides of the sear and where it slides in the trigger assembly in allmost all my sks rifles, this twenty minute job does a world of good on the trigger pull.

That is good advice. If a person takes the time to learn the function and assembly and dissassembly. I don't doubt that the Wolff springs would make a big difference!

It's a hobby with me, the price didn't bother me. Some guys spend $5000 putting engines in their dune buggies, me I'm lucky for my interests I paid $225 for a trigger group. LOL
