I thought I would share a picture with you of my never fired (except factory) 1954 Tula SKS and my been fired a lot 1938 Tula Mosin Nagant 1891/30.

I know I need to break it in! My dad bought it when I was a kid. I bought it from him for $180. Not too bad. He gave me his ammo too.

Not normal, as far as I can tell from comparing to my Mosin-Nagant. The lock up should be solid... as in, when the bolt is closed, it doesn't wiggle back and forth.
