The problem I'm having is w/ the main screw that runs throught the stock.  On one side it's a normal flathead, and on the other side it's the end of the screw and a round nut with two holes in it, like for a spaner wrench.  The problem is it won't turn.  And I have put a LOT of force on it.  The screw was punched at the end w/ the nut to prevent it from turning but I already knocked it back to normal.  Any help would be great.

On my sks, I don't have to remove any screws to remove the stock.....just whack the little pin behind the trigger guard.

Then again, there are various versions of the SKS so for all I know, there's a version with some f'd up screw

Naw, that's the stock crossbolt.  You won't need to remove that to get the stock off the rifle, it's just to reinforce the stock at that location.
