I just picked up a Rusian SKS, refurbished,, manufactured in 1955.  Original Stock came with weapon, however it is fitted with Fibergalss folding stock and peep rear sight. In remarkable good shape, decent trigger. Wolf Russian 7.62 X 39 is dirt cheap, $2.30/20 or $59 for 500 brick.  Would appreciate any thoughts. I would never feed wolf to my Colt AR or my Kimbers, but what the heck Russian Weapon - Russian Ammo?

Wolf or barnaul are probably the best on the market.  Barnaul will get the edge in accuracy.  The newer lots of wolf are supposed to be better in this area.  Barnaul however is probably the most accurate in the world in this caliber.
