Hey all.

I've been using detachable mags for a while, and I vaguely remember seeing extended magazine releases available years ago.  Now I can't find anything about them on the internet at all.

Any ideas on if these things are durable/available?

Thanks,

C.

So your detach mags actually work then?

believe it or not!

Of the 3 30-rounders I have, 2 work well, and my only beef with the other is that it somehow doesn't push up the bolt hold-open device when the last round is fired.

I will admit, though, that I had to push and shove on the thing to get it to feed right.  i.e. the strip of metal that restrains the front of the bullet wasn't forgiving enough...I had to push it forward a few mm so that the rounds would feed better.  If I didn't the bullet would slide over that piece of metal, but the cartridge mouth would hang up on it, jamming the gun.

Oh yeah, I ALWAYS only load 25 rounds into the things...I've found the reliability improves dramatically that way.
