Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Laminate Stock ?

Anyone know where I can get a laminated stock like the ones you see on some Russian SKS rifles. My Chinese stock just broke - I need something stronger !

I saw one last week that looked beautiful.  I'm not sure if Ironwood does them for the SKS.  You may also get a line on one through sksman.com

i just purchased the first stock in the list from www.globaltrades.com  the model # is C-702.  the handguard that comes with it does not match the stock unfortunately but it doesnt really matter because i cant remove the black plastic one that was on my rifle originally.  its a nice stock but the receiver/barrel will not fit into the stock if the crossbolt is in place.  its about 1/2mm off.  only $9.99

I just purchased one of those too. Not tried to fit it yet. Was dissapointed that the handguard was red plastic, not matching wood. Seems a decent piece of wood though.

I wish Ironwood were making 100% laminates for the SKS.
