Friend of a friend has one for sale with "3 extra clips and a box of bullets. I think it has Japanese writing on it" for $500. Seems like a good deal to me, but I don't really need it. Should I fo? The only pic he sent

Kool that it comes with extra clips.
You can load that magazine with them.  If a regular sks is selling for about that much, I would buy that m model clippedy split. |

That's a very good price if the sks checks out as an actual ak mag taking, 93/94 serial numbered rifle. One of the only guns I regret getting rid of!

Do it. The various SKS that take AK mags are few and far between. If you want to turn it real quick let me know.
