All the little parts are packed away... I have yet to order a reciever but when I do it will be an SLR

Did you consider buying the 16" kink kit and cutting the barrel down to normal krink size? The 16" kit is new, not demilled. Would that have been more attractive?

Actually a new kit requires less work then a demilled kit.

Demilled kit has had all the parts fitted and installed. All that needs to be done is basically replace the receiver (more involved legally of course).

A kit of all new parts is basically just all the parts picked out of the parts bins.. Parts will have to be fitted, barrel headspaced to bolt, barrel pin slot drilled, etc.
