is their only an 8 rd clip for this rifle.  i have heard you can get 25 rd. clips, if so does anyone know where and also i heard that Galil mag. fit in  the .308, is that true....  i just got the rifle and i want to put a red dot sight on it, anyone have any suggestionson brands that work well with it

I thought the .308 mag it came with was a 10 rounder.

The S308 comes with only an eight rounder. There have been a few people modifying Galil mags to work in them, but it's not easy. Tromix at the Saiga-12 forums is developing a modified M-14 magazine that will work in an unmodified S308.

several folks have trimmed the follower to allow 10 rounds
