Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Swap that Sling Stud

Can anybody tell me what kind of screw I would need to replace the sling stud? Its a super fine thread and using a microsope, some calipers and a bright light, I measured three peaks per mm... which would mean its an M1.5 screw right? any ideas on where to find such a thing? ACE Hardware?

I just used one of the Uncle Mikes ones. I had to shorten the screw a bit but it worked good.
They cost about a buck 95.

+1  cut the screw down and you should be good to go
