from what I see, open up the mag well a bit, flatten the heads of the rivets in the mag well, and knock the corners off the mag a bit and it's good.
It's a project I hope to do soon. |

Is it still possible to use the original factory mags???

yes.
all you do is open up the sheet metal part of the reciever around the front trunion. The opening is smaller than the space inside. Trim it to match the dimensions of the actual opening and take the sharp corners off the body of the mags. At least that's how it appears to me, but I have not tried it yet. I am away from home on business right now and can't start the project. |

Krebs does it. Also, this can be done using M14/M1A1 mags, whihc, I think, would be the wiser choice.

I also have heard this . What alterations need to be done with the m14 mags. does the rifle need to be altered or the mags . any info would help. I know that krebs does awsome work but it's a little exspensive for my blood . is this something I could by myself?hinking.gif
