My SUPER VERP puts a good dent in the side of the brass.....My Saiga .308 doesn't dent it at all.

Is this common to the .308 VEPR's you other shooter have?

They also seem to recoil more than the Saiga's
in .308 and I am guessing that possibly it is the bolt recoil velocity is higher with the VEPR line.

What say you all.

I have the opposite happening. My Saiga .308 16" dents cases and Vepr doesn't.

Go figure.
That then leads to the question of how to fix that since it almost sounds individual weapon specific.....any idea anyone?

it haxs to do with the angle of the ejector in the gun.  It's not uncommon for the angle of the ejector to cause the brass to whack the edge of the dust cover.

My VEPR II 308 beats the hell out of my brass.  I have heard that this is is very common.
