This was the only forum that listed Dragunov so I'm posting the question here.

I just ordered a Chinese NDM-86 from CDNN (sold my preban bushy that I've owned for over 10 years to help with the cost).
It doesn't come with a sling or bipod. What have any of y'all used and what's the price?

I should be taking delivery of it tonight and then I'll be mailing the bolt to have the firing pin reworked.

I use a Russian SVD sling.  It's the same sling that is used on the AK which is olive canvas with a loop on one end and a metal clasp on the other.  There is a similar sling with a sliding pad attached being sold as an SVD sling on ebay but it's really for a PK machine gun or similar weapon.  The Chinese SVD sling seems to be unavailable but the Russian one usually sells for about $10 or $15 at gunshows and some places like Tapco.

If you rifle is new from CDNN the bolt will already have the spring retrofit, though the quality may not be very good.  Where were you going to send yours off to?

"Tantal" has what you need.

He has both the SVD bi-pods and Russian slings.
Send an e-mail for a current price list.
