These can't be simply added onto a wasr can they? And by simple I mean me taking it to a smith and having him do it . Is it the same thread as a wasr? I have one of those standard post ban wasr compensators right now and that fh would look a lot cooler. Thanks.

You have to have your barrel threaded for the standard AK left hand thread.

Do you know if this will work with 7.62X39?  I have one but the opening looks small.

I have one of those, I bought it locally.  Its for 7.62 and indexes like the slant break with the pin in the FSB and it wobbly on some rifles.  I ended up cutting another notch so it would seat tight.

Global trades lists one similar, but not the exact same thing.
