If anyone can help me, let me know. I have a Romanian AK-47, WASR-10 I recently bought a BIRDCAGE compensator to replace the standard bayonet lug on my AK. THE NEW BIRDCAGE WAS SUPPOSED TO THREAD RIGHT ON.  I read everywhere that AK-47's Barrel is threaded on the end, left handed, 14mm. I was able to remove my slant nut, but, to my suprise, it was right handed, and to make things worse, I marred the old nut up really bad getting it off, and the new compensator was lefthanded threads, and a couple of millimeters larger in diameter. Does anyone know what the threads are on a new romanian AK? I need to at least get a replacement for the old one, or find a compensator that works, or a conversion, but everything out there is left handed threads. I know, I shouldn't have tried to fix what wasn't broke. Any help would be appreciated...thanks...Matt
