UM....if you take the bolt assy. out there should be a round area in the rear trunion that you can pry against the stock and trunion with a screwdriver and get it started..good-luck.

rubber mallet and a piece of wood. hammer and butt end of screwdriver. etc.

Laundry bag full of dirty laundry or bed work the best for me.
Unload / Disassemble gun. Remove 2 screws. Grasp gun by barrel. Using an over the head chopping swing, beat all 4 sides of butstock on bed / dirty laundry bag. Repeat beating till the stock wiggles off. You should hear a good slapping sound if you are doing it right. Don't let the wife / boy / girlfriend catch you beating the bed. |

I beat it out with a mallet and brass drift. I broke it but I threw it away anyways, dont need it when you have a good wire folder installed.

no reason to waste good wood.
drop's method works as does the hammer and a socket extension method. tap it out slowly and you'll have really nice wood you can refinish. |
