Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - SAR-1 OR WASR-10?

The differance I see is the dimple right below the bolt on the SAR-1. I'm I missing something? I heard they are not importing SAR-1 anymore? Is this true? The SAR-1 Looks alot better I think than the WASR-10. INFO please.

SAR-1 is a military grade (mil-spec) receiver.  The WASR receiver is not.

Since they no longer import SAR1s, you'll have to purchase a used one.  Try looking on the Equipment Exchange on this board.  A used SAR1 probably won't cost much more than a new WASR.  Personally, I'd prefer a used SAR1 over a new WASR.
