Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - High Profile or Low Profile side scope mount?

I'm looking to put an inexpensive red dot on a WASR10. Anyone have experience with either the high or low profile ak to weaver side mount adapters?

I've got the mid-mount and it's ok, but I'd seriously look at a centered low mount given what I know now. Everyone I've talked to that knows alot about this stuff has recomended the IOR low mount. It's what the Romanian Special Forces use on their riffles.

LOW!!! 1" higher means chin weld, and I sold my hi for lo. If you have an 8x scope and need to look under it for irons when shooting close, then maybe the hi is correct.
