I want to install pistol grips and buttstocks or folders on my AK's.
I know Ill have to install US parts to bring the parts count up.
Question is , Is the Romak reciver cut  for a buttstock or folder?

The Romak is cut for a standard stock, well most are. Some came with a  funny angle-cut receiver. Anyhow, the Romanian side folding stock requires no modification to the weapon, and fits just like a solid stock.

You can easily tell if your Romak 1 or 2 will accept standard stocks.

If you see a circular cutout on the back end of the receiver you won't be able to use standard stocks.

If the receiver does not have a circular cutout, you can use any stock that will fit on a stamped receiver.

The only Romanian rifles I have seen with the cut out on the receiver were the early imported WUM-1's.
