Ok, I've owned AK's since 1992, but have yet to obtain a Romanian variant. I've handled and shot SAR-1's before, but have a few questions:

Local gun shop has 2 SAR-1's with laminated furniture, scope rails, black pistol grips, magazine "dimples", plain muzzles, marked 03, straight sights & gas blocks. Fit and finish much better than other SAR-1's I've messed with.
They are both marked SAR-1 7.62x39 on one side, made in Cugir Romania on the other, I can't find a CAI or Century stamp on either rifle.... Price on each is $380.

Anyone know the trunnion hole diameter on the SAR-1? is it the standard AKM size of 23mm?

My  import mark is on the right side of the receiver straight down from the bolt carrier.

Yes the SAR-1 rifles are AKM rifles and all parts will interchange.
