Why don't you just contact Investment Grade Firearms and have Jayson put you on a 22mm thread adapter? It works and looks exactly the same as the Romanian FSB.

K-Var is taking oders by phone now.  The sight bases are supposed to be in stock by mid October.  At least that was the latest rumor  
I threaded my SAR-2 barrel in 1/2-28 and bought one of the adapters from Global.  IGF also makes the adapters like Jim suggested.
