the sar-3 is the most accurate among the romanian rifles, due to ammo availability and the ease with which one can throw handloads.
i have seen the sar-3 shoot less than 2" with a russian pso scope (definitely not a target scope!). from all reports, 62 grainers seem to fly straight from the sar-3. pass on that canted sight model! the price is high by about $50 and if the sight is canted...there is more work involved in repairing it. keep looking...a better deal will find you. |

2" are the good groups, 2.5" are more likely for 5 at 100, very similar to the Bulgy 5.45 guns. About .5" better than a SAR2 and .5" worse than a basic AR on the same 10 cent/rnd ammo.
