I finally took my new Romanian AK to the range last weekend.  I knew that the stock was a little short, but after a few rounds it definitely was uncomforable shooting it.  I know I've read a few posts in the past about companies that sell longer stocks and about buying stock extensions that you don't have to drill into the stock to mount.  Can anyone direct me to one of these sites or posts.  It was a lot of fun shooting it, but need to make it more comforable.

Thanks for the information.

The one inch thick ruddbe butt pads are a cheap easy way to do it.

In the long run, you ight consider a 1 1/2 inch longer U.S. mase polymer stock from K-Var. A whole stock set is a big improvement.  Along with the handguard being heat sheided, it is a nice upgrade.

I had that problem. I just broke down and bought a NATO stock set form Kvar. Best thing to do and really lightened the rifle up.
