People get the 22mm FSB to make it "correct". They only want the "correct" brake on it. People that don't care about it being correct get a 24mm FSB and the pictured flash suppressor.

I would agree with that, however, there are plenty of us that purchased these rifles during the AWB years and the 22mm front sight base was the only legal option...unless your had your brake permanently fixed.
Personally, I think the brake is window dressing in the semi-auto mode. I can't tell any difference in recoil/muzzle climb with or without it. |
