On the WASR 22 comes a riveted on scope mount.
Is this mount a standard AK mount? I want to get a POSP scope, but should I use the AK mount that comes on the POSP or the SVD mount? Which on fits the WASR 22? Please dont assume, I only want to hear from those who have done it and know for a fact.

The WASR 22 and the AKT-98 are both Standard AK mount rails .. here is a pic of my WASR 22 with the AK mount .. I am using a Stock set from a AKT-98 .. The scope is a POSP 4x24

I spent a whole evening flat filing mine before the mount would go on.

My PSL style mount also fits.
I have both the 8x42 that came on my PSL and a 4x that has the PSL mount that fits the PSL and my WASR22. The clamp block seems to engage just fine.
