Norinco MAK-90, not bad for $200. What do these guns go for, $450-$500?

$450-500 is a little high for stamped rifles, but most I've seen are selling for around $400ish+/- $25. You did very well for $200, even better than I did for one at $275. Still, very nice find. Now you just need to unban it.

What do you mean by that?

Make it 922r compliant and put evil features back on it--Pistol grip for one. It is a little harder to put a bayonet lug on these ones, but you could thread the muzzle and install a flash suppressor/muzzle brake, or do all kinds of other interesting stuff.

Ok, thanks. Oh, does the thumbhole stock attach with just the screw on top, or does one go under it also? And what size screws do I need. The guy that had the gun before loves to take things apart, in the process he took the stock off and lost the screws. Oh well, for $200 I'll gladly buy another screw for it.

Let's see. If it's like mine, there is one screw on the tang (behind the top cover) which is just a wood screw about an inch or so long. Then there is a long screw that runs up through the grip area, and up into the receiver and screws into the Pistol grip nut. Which of these is missing?

to replace the stock with a pistol grip you have to replace the grip bolt on the Mak 90's anyway so its not a big deal

Well I'm not wanting to replace the stock, I want to leave the one thats on it. I'm trying to figure out what screws I need.

Edit.. Would this screw work for the the grip portion of the stock?
