It's an addiction I tell ya.  First I aquired a really nice Hungarian (FEG) Receiver Arsenal USA SSR-85C post-ban AK.  I like it - but as someone thats had alot of preban AKs in the past I was allways somewhat bothered by the bastardized aspect of it all.

I decided to get another preban - all correct, all one arsenal, all legit.  So I put WTB adds out on the boards.  Got a hit from a local dealer and went to his place tonite.

Brought these 2 babies home.  The first is a Polytech AKS-762, an original side folder S#PS87-762-06XX.  Factory 416 gun.  Its in excellent condition but has been fired.  Came with one original Poly mag.  This would be an early side folder before the CS enhancements.  It is a KFS import.  Has threaded muzzle with nut.  I gave him $923 plus tax for it.

The second AK is a Norinco 84S .223 AK.  S#3170XX.  Factory 66 gun.  It was imported by CSI LA CA (whoever the poop they are?).  It appears to be unfired.  Has the standard .223 Norinco brake and lug. Came with 1 mag.  I didn't plan on getting the 2nd AK but when offered it at $600 plus tax I couldn't turn it down.

Now to hide them from the wife.   :)

And find the right bayonets for the guns - and reasonable priced mags for that 84s.

If anyone comes accross the appropriate Type 1 bayo and Chinese bakelite mag for that side folder I'd appreciate a heads up.  I keep being a day late for them.

I found plenty of mags and a bayo for the 84s.

Sweet-- I loooove those .223s---  Wish to hell I'd had the sense to buy one of the Type-82 drums they were bringing in back in the Day, that were set up for 5.56-- Ah, well, hindsight--
